- Via the Athens Banner-Herald, Athens Christian's Mike Hutch notched his 400th career victory as the Eagles knocked off Region 8-A rival Prince Avenue on Tuesday.
- Jefferson has used a balanced approach to reach the Class AA semifinals.
- As the state playoffs shift to the final two rounds, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution has a nice story on the Macon Auditorium, which used to host all the state's basketball tournaments for Class A, B and C.
- Via the Augusta Chronicle, Lakeside-Evans has named one of its assistants to replace Jody Grooms as head football coach. Jarrett Trexler will take over for the Panthers, and, at 30, he's one of the youngest coaches in the state.
- Updating our own silence the past two days, but we've had internet and server issues that have finally been resolved. We'll hit the ground running for this week, albeit a day or so late.
